Three-Aksha:

In 2003 Viji Rao founded a performing arts institute named Three Aksha. She is currently the Director of Three Aksha Institute of Performing Arts, which is based in Philadelphia. Three Aksha's major role is to promote awareness among general public about Bharatanatyam, a classical dance form as well as the ancient and rich Indian heritage.

Since its inception in 2003 Three Aksha's activities have widened and now encompass hosting of dance performances, conducting dance workshops, lecture demonstrations and performing for fund raisers nationally and internationally.
