Dr. Nageshwar Lal Karn an exponent of Tabla (discip[le of Pandit Lallu Singh of Agra) is an example of versatality, specialized in Tabla playing and acompanying, is also academically and professionally sound in music. He holds a Masters Degree in Vocal and Tabla and has done research in music under the guidence of musicinas Dr. SB Shrama (former proffessor, Dayalbagh University) and received his Doctorate in "Kathak Nritya Ke Saath Tabla Sangati" in 1996. HHe is also an approved Tabla player in All India Radio and Doordarshan. Shri NL Karn also teaches Tabla besides concerts.
