The latest issue of attendance, the only dance annual magazine was released in New Delhi by Dr. Karan Singh. The editor Ashish Khokar also spoke on the occasion.

Hindustani voclaist Madhup Mudgal, his sister and eminent exponent of odissi, Madhavi Mudgal, his daugter and Odissi dancer Arushi and others will be featured in a special programme at Theatre de la Ville in Paris, France in May 2008. This is perhaps for the first time that all the Mudgal family coming together on stage. A great occasion indeed.

Kalapana Raghuraman from The Netherlands presented her new experimental dance works at the Habitat Centre, New Delhi this month which was appreciated by all for its freshness and unique approach to dance.

Those artists who would like to avail railway concession for participating in festivals and performances may
contact the cultural department or Sangeet Natak Akademi in their respective states. Along with the application letter for concession you have to attach copy of the invitation letter from the organizer and five copies of artists travelling along with their names and age. Individuals or groups travelling can avail 50% concession in first class and 75% concession in second class sleeper class.
